National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula is one of the richest politicians in Kenya.

The 66-year-old began his political career in 1993 when he was nominated as a Member of Parliament (MP) by the then-ruling party-KANU.

He served as Sirisia MP for 10 years, from 2003 to 2013. During his time as MP, he was appointed to various ministerial positions by Kenya's third president Mwai Kibaki with the peak being holding the Foreign Affairs docket.

Having served as MP, minister, and now speaker, Wetang'ula has accumulated wealth running into billions of shillings.

Wetang'ula has invested in the lucrative real estate sector like other wealthy Kenyans.

In Syokimau estate in Machakos county, he is the proprietor of 360 Court apartments with ultra-modern amenities.

According to Business Today, the court features spacious, high-end two-bedroom and three-bedroom units.

Kings Developers noted the apartments are located along Mombasa Road, five kilometres from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Some politicians have declared their wealth publicly, while others have had their properties listed by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).

Former Kiambu governor William Kabogo shared photos of his investments and properties on social media.
